I was in the mall the other day when I passed one of those Ticket Master places. They had a billboard listing all the tickets that they offered, with best priced tickets in big bold letters above it. I stopped, looking over the board. It had been a long time since I had been to a good concert or play. I haven’t had much time these days, always busy with papers and exams, senior year in college can be real pain, the exams and finals just never stop. It’s like the professors like them or something as though grading papers is the big thing or something. Looking over the board I didn’t recognize half of what was there, of course I never have been a big band follower or anything but a good concert is always worth it. The last one I was at was a Nickelback concert and it was great, he has some real good sounds. I had gone with Jessica, we weren’t so serious then, in fact we got serious just after that. Remembering the thrill of the crowd, the music pounding all around you, the rush of adrenaline and screaming until you loose your voice, I just had to get a ticket to something. I looked back at the board. There is a Nickelback gig next month in Chicago that's only a two-hour drive. I have to have a set, one for me and one for Jessica.
