Kara, my best friend, is going out with a guy who I just don’t like.  All he does all day long is watch television and play computer games.  He lost the last three jobs he had because he was always late or took off too many days to buy event tickets.  He blames everybody else for his problems and doesn’t take any responsibilities for his own actions.  He keeps asking Kara for money and I know she has given him some, but she is not willing to give him al her hard earned money for junk.  He usually buys beer or uses it for betting sports.  I think even Kara is getting tired of his irresponsibility, but she is hoping he will turn himself around and start using his brain some.  I don’t think that will happen, but I hope Kara will not be taken for too much money before she decided to dump this guy.  I am anticipating that if she doesn’t give him any more money he will just break up with her and try to find another sucker.  I don’t like to sound like I am giving her a lecture, but I do try to make her see that he is taking advantage of her good and generous nature.  I hope she can find a guy that is as wonderful as my boyfriend soon.
