PLAYING HOUSE
I love the play house that my uncle had built in the back yard of his new vacation. It sits at the edge of the yard among some huge shade trees. It looks like a miniature of the vacation house and even has a wrap around porch. There are some big windows with shutters and window boxes for planting real flowers and herbs. There are lots of kids in our family and it is an excellent way to keep them all together in one place. There are some miniature sized furniture in the big play room. Some tables and chairs that will fit a little body, lots of toys and books and childrens organizers to hold all the stray objects the kids can gather. The organizers are all labeled with each child’s name so they know it’s their own special place to put their playthings. My Grandmother insists that the flower boxes be used to teach the little ones about how they can learn to plant and watch flowers or vegetable grow. She wants to start early passing some of her knowledge of gardening on to the children. This is another reason it’s such fun going to visit with our family. There is always something new to learn.
