SPORTS AND RAIN

It’s a freezing cold day and as a golf trainer I am forced to be punctual and I am compelled to be at the golf course at all costs. Forget the costs; what I really mean is no matter the weather! That is my worst nightmare, where I have to stand shivering in the freezing cold or under a flaming hot sun to train my client. Right now it is early afternoon, and believe it or not dusk is around the corner. That’s right; it has got to be winter. All I can say is thank god I am in Florida, and only in the rarest of times does it get chilly here. But Florida weather is really tricky, and I never know when it is going to rain or whether or not it will be a hot or cold day. Some days the weather likes to be so deceitful that it gets hot and cold without warning. Today is one of those days, where it was hot in the morning, when I started working, but is freezing as night approaches.  Before I left the house, early in the morning, my mother told me to take a jacket. She is only visiting for the weekend, but even though I am a fully grown man she still insists that she is always right. I know now that no matter how old I will be, my mother will always be right. I should’ve listened to her right from the start.
