THE GRID IRON

I’m not the biggest sports fan, and I didn’t really think I was all that big of a gambler.  I don’t watch too many games on TV and you’ll almost never find me at a casino, but if you combine sports and gambling I tend to get a little bit crazy.  Football betting is generally my poison, I don’t have a favorite team, a favorite player or a favorite coach, but when I get a chance to study the odds and lay down a little bit of money – football becomes the most interesting thing in the world to me.  There’s just something about knowing that all these guys rumbling around on the grid iron could potentially win or lose me some of my hard earned money.  I wish I could get the best-priced tickets to a game. Sometimes the amount of money involved doesn’t even matter – it could be just five or ten dollars or a lot more – my blood gets pumping and my adrenaline flows just because some amount of money is involved.  I should probably be careful, the way it sounds I could probably become addicted pretty easily, and I don’t make the kind of money it would take to support a serious gambling addiction, nor do I have the time to devote to weekly gambler’s anonymous meetings.
