I have not been to a basketball game in many years.  My husband decided to try buying a block of tickets for a few select games while pondering rather to buy season tickets next year.  He decided that since the kids have all gone off to college and will be done in a couple more years, he will then be able to buy season tickets instead of channeling all his money into their pockets.  We have not had money for too many extravagant  things, except for buying Cleveland Cavaliers Tickets now and then to a special game that we just couldn’t pass up.  We are trying to get in the habit of going out more than we have in many years.  We don’t want to become couch potatoes and loose all desire for fun.  We think going to basketball games will be great fun, if the first couple we have gone to is any indication.  For me, it was very interesting.  We got there early enough to take a tour around the arena, and we even went to one of the restaurants on site for a quick bite.  Then we just sat and watch the place fill up with excited fans.
